Manifestation is intentionally acting, living, and thinking in a way that leads you to exactly what you want and what you are looking for. In order to manifest correctly, you need to completely shift your mindset into staying positive, going with the flow, and trusting that the universe has your back.

If you have not already heard of the law of attraction, it is thinking intentionally and focusing your thoughts on what you want; with this mindset and by doing things intentionally to get yourself to your goal, the universe will provide you with exactly what you are looking for.

How to Manifest the Life of Your Dreams This Year

1 – Journal. 

Journaling is a great exercise in general, but especially when it comes to manifesting. Journaling gives you the opportunity to write down or type out all your thoughts with absolutely no judgement. When you are journaling, take time to focus on what you are thankful for and practice gratitude, while also focusing on what it is that you want and what you are working towards. Not only does writing down what you want help get your closer to your goal, but it is also a great way for you to look back and realize how far you have come over time.  


2 – Make a vision board for the year ahead. 

It is the beginning of the year, so the perfect time for you to make a vision board! Think about what all your goals are for the year and piece together images that represent each of those goals. This is a great exercise for your mind, and you may even find that you have goals and dreams that you did not even initially think of! Once you are done with your vision board, print it out and hang it in a place in your home where you will see it every day to be reminded of these goals. You can even make your vision board your desktop on your laptop, or your background on your phone, so you are consistently reminded of all the exciting things to come. 


3 – Surround yourself with positive people.

You know the saying; you are who you spend time with! While everyone can have a bad day, it is important to do your best to surround yourself with positivity as much as you can. Make an effort to spend time with like-minded and supportive people who lift you up and “fill your cup” versus empty it. Each person that you give your energy to in your life should make you feel better and more fulfilled, not the opposite! Focus on a positive atmosphere and find ways to cut toxicity out where you can.  


4 – Say positive affirmations to yourself.

We are often so caught up in the stress of our everyday lives that we forget to be nice to the person who is most important – ourselves! If you find yourself constantly worrying, stressing, or thinking negative thoughts, try saying positive affirmations to yourself – yes, yourself – out loud every single day. While this may seem super cheesy and uncomfortable, the truth is that it will boost your self-confidence and help you to manifest a more positive lifestyle.
