For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a

beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you

have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never

tried. And, what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week,

we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add

to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a

South Shore: Rose & Vicki’s in Plymouth, MA

Established in 1976, Rose and Vicki’s has since proudly served great food and even better service. Notably so, they are best known for their delicious fresh subs and sandwiches, bakery goods, and stone hearth pizza.

Cape Cod & Islands: Café Chew in Sandwich, MA

Café Chew is a counter-serve nook that features gourmet breakfast and lunch bites, plus baked goods, coffee and cute and cozy outdoor seating. Furthermore, their food is fresh and homemade, and is also sure to give you a “pick me up” at any time of day.

South Coast: Tia Maria’s European Café in New Bedford, MA

Tia Maria’s is a food centric Portuguese family-owned restaurant. The business features local and organic ingredients in a large variety of their dishes. Additionally, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also offer homemade desserts, pastries and specialty espresso drinks!

 

West Bay & South County: Champlin’s Seafood in Narragansett, RI

Founded 69 years ago, Champlin’s specializes in fresh lobster and shellfish from the deep off-shore waters of the Atlantic Ocean, and from the beautiful Narragansett bay! Impressively so, every day, commercial fishing vessels land fresh seafood at Champlin’s landing docks!

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: Leo’s Ristorante in Bristol, RI

Leo’s opened in 1948 and established mainly as a pizzeria in the State Street section of Bristol. After many years, the restaurant relocated to Hope Street in the historic downtown Bristol. Thus allowing Leo’s to expand its menu options and also feature the most delicious, authentic Italian and American cuisine!
